PRISM is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to drive full-lifecycle software engineering and infrastructure support for mission-critical applications. You will design, develop, and maintain cloud-native tools while ensuring the security and reliability of a diverse virtualized environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Architect & Develop: Design and implement full-stack cloud applications using modern frameworks and object-oriented languages (Java, Go, or C#).
  • Infrastructure Management: Administer virtual/physical servers (VMware, Windows, Linux) and manage containerized deployments via Kubernetes.
  • Systems Engineering: Automate environments using Terraform, Ansible, or Helm, and manage complex networking/VPN protocols.
  • Operations & Maintenance: Proactively troubleshoot hardware/software, manage backups, and oversee security patches/regulatory compliance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

1. Demonstrated experience independently designing and developing cloud based applications using current best practices and architectural guidelines.

2. Demonstrated experience working in software engineering, applications development or web application development and deployment.

3. Demonstrated experience with object oriented development in a modern language (Java, Go, C##).

4. Demonstrated experience developing front ends in modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.

5. Demonstrated experience developing in a Linux environment.

6. Demonstrated experience developing in commercial clouds such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

7. Demonstrated experience developing containerized applications using Kubernetes.

8. Demonstrated experience working with orchestration tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.

9. Demonstrated experience with networking and Virtual Private Network (VPN) protocols like OpenVPN, Wireguard, and IPSec. Cloud Engineering Team Support:

10. Demonstrated experience managing end user accounts, permissions, access rights, and storage allocations in accordance with best practices.

11. Demonstrated experience installing and managing cloud based applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

12. Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes and containerization.

13. Demonstrated experience performing software and hardware upgrades, patches and reconfigs.

14. Demonstrated experience managing the physical environment of server racks including cable management, documenting, labeling, and configuration of KVM switching for console and remote access.

15. Demonstrated experience installing and upgrading computer components and software, managing virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.

16. Demonstrated experience troubleshooting hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.

17. Demonstrated experience performing regular backup operations and implementing appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.

18. Demonstrated experience monitoring the system daily and responding immediately to performance, security or usability concerns.

19. Demonstrated experience reviewing application logs to sustain system integrity and security.

20. Demonstrated experience with Linux administration (Centos/Ubuntu/Rocky).

21. Demonstrated experience communicating issues and resolutions to all levels of an organization.

22. Demonstrated experience responding and resolving help desk and JIRA requests.

23. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
