The Logistics Analyst IV - Medical Liaison Officer (LNO) provides medical logistics assistance and liaison support to Army units in support of the Project Manager Soldier Medical Devices (PM SMD). This position supports medical materiel fielding, sustainment, and readiness by coordinating medical logistics, maintenance, Class VIII supply, and fielding missions while serving as the primary liaison between supported units, PM SMD, and supporting medical logistics organizations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Medical Liaison Officer (LNO) providing medical logistics assistance support to assigned units within an Area of Responsibility (AOR).
- Coordinate medical maintenance, repair actions, and sustainment activities with supported units, Medical Treatment Facilities, Medical Logistics units, and U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA) depots.
- Coordinate and analyze Class VIII medical materiel re‑supply requirements and reconciliation actions.
- Support medical materiel fielding missions including planning, execution, documentation, and post‑fielding requirements.
- Conduct independent fielding missions on behalf of the Government, including data entry, uploads, and approvals in authorized Army logistics systems.
- Execute hand‑off of medical materiel and equipment to gaining units and submit all required documentation within 48 hours of completion.
- Assist in developing materiel requirement estimates, equipment density reports, maintenance schedules, and disposition instructions.
- Provide fault systems analysis and develop problem statements with research‑based recommendations and courses of action.
- Coordinate liaison activities between PM SMD, supported commands, Army Medical Materiel Centers, and contingency support organizations.
- Provide training and technical guidance to supported units on medical materiel readiness, sustainment tools, inventory management, and procurement processes.
- Prepare and submit required reports, including Monthly Logistics Assistance Workload Reports and fielding documentation.
- Maintain proficiency and authorized access to Army Automation Systems including TEWLS, LOGICOL, AESIP, GCSS‑Army, LMI‑DST, and M3PT.
- Participate in meetings, briefings, and site surveys with no more than 72 hours' notice.
- Perform administrative and documentation support in accordance with Army correspondence regulations (AR 25‑50).
- This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business
- Experience may be considered in lieu of education
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience in logistics analysis, medical logistics, materiel fielding, or Army sustainment operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Secret clearance Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance (Tier 3).
- Knowledge of Army medical logistics, materiel fielding, and sustainment operations.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to develop actionable recommendations.
- Experience using Army logistics and medical automation systems (TEWLS, LOGICOL, GCSS‑Army, AESIP, M3PT, LMI‑DST).
- Ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS in support of fielding and liaison missions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to complete all required DoD and Army training (Cyber Awareness, HIPAA, OPSEC, AT Level I, TARP, iWATCH)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to communicate effectively with personnel at all echelons.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in geographically dispersed environments.
- Strong organizational, documentation, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
- Knowledge of applicable Army regulations and logistics policies.
