SharePoint Business Analyst

Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a SharePoint Business Analyst to support the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) based in Quantico, VA . This is a full-time, onsite position. The SharePoint Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in supporting the Marine Corps Enterprise IT Services (MCEITS), ensuring seamless content management, workflow design, and operational support across SharePoint 2013 on-prem and SharePoint Online environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Customer Group in delivering SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online solutions across on-prem and hybrid cloud environments.
• Collaborate with analysts, SharePoint developers, content SMEs, and team members to define design requirements, workflows, and content maintenance processes.
• Provide daily management of the VIPER Group Mailbox, including access management for guest users and Marine Corps employees.
• Perform administrative maintenance for SharePoint sites, managing requests for new sites, updates, and content changes.
• Support data migration from legacy SharePoint platforms to SharePoint Online and assist with testing new development features.
• Execute scripts for daily personnel updates and troubleshoot issues with internally developed VIPER applications (Work Maintenance System, Work Request Application, Check-In/Check-Out Tool, FAQ App).
• Review and design wireframes and workflows to support modernization and process improvement efforts.
• Contribute to streamlining processes and enhancing collaboration across a highly engaged and mission-focused team.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant experience (flexible with advanced degrees or highly aligned experience).
• Familiarity with SharePoint 2013/2016 and SharePoint Online, including content management, navigation, and basic troubleshooting.
• Experience as a Business Analyst, Program Analyst, Data Analyst, QA Tester, or similar role.
• Experience with data analysis and/or data migration support.
• Strong process orientation and excellent attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general technical skills.
• IAT Level II certification , such as:
  • Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP, CND, CCNA Security, or equivalent.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required.

Compensation Includes:

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 depending on experience
• Full benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO, Sick Leave (as required by law)
