The successful candidate will work closely with business users, executives, and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective data and reporting solutions.

Seneca Technologies is seeking a Data Analyst to support operational reporting and stakeholder needs within a federal financial environment. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, executives, and technical teams to translate business requirements into effective data and reporting solutions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Develop, maintain, and enhance operational, executive, and compliance-related reports to support decision-making and oversight.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries using InterSystems Caché SQL to extract, analyze, and validate data.
- Work extensively with the Artiva software debt collections platform to support reporting, analytics, and operational insights.
- Engage with business users and executive stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business and reporting requirements.
- Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for software developers and technical teams.
- Provide ongoing stakeholder support by responding to data requests, explaining analytical results, and ensuring reporting accuracy and consistency.
- Participate in Agile development processes, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and reviews.
- Contribute to the development process, including testing, validation, and collaboration on data-related enhancements.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and adherence to organizational and federal standards.
Basic Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL, specifically InterSystems Caché SQL.
- Demonstrated experience producing a wide range of reports, including operational, executive, and compliance or regulatory reporting.
- Required experience with the Artiva debt collections platform.
- Five or more years of experience in a data analyst or similar analytical role.
- Proven ability to work directly with business users and executives to gather and refine requirements.
- Experience communicating business requirements to software developers and technical teams.
- Bachelor's degree
- US Citizen and able to pass security clearances as required for Government contracts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and working in Agile team environments.
