Our client is an award winning global integrator supporting a large federal security and background‑screening contract. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of project delivery. The PM will manage software development, cloud hosting, operations, and ongoing enhancements while coordinating directly with government stakeholders.
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership and direction across software development, delivery, cloud hosting, operations, and continuous improvement activities.
Manage the full lifecycle of projects—from initial concept through planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and communication documents.
Communicate priorities, expectations, and status updates with teams and stakeholders in a timely and transparent manner.
Ensure adherence to company standards, practices, and escalation procedures.
Serve as the primary liaison with project stakeholders, including direct interaction with government program offices.
Monitor and manage project scope changes, risks, and issues.
Coach, mentor, and lead project team members to promote performance and accountability.
Oversee project financial management, including budgeting, resource planning, manpower forecasting, and financial reporting.
Maintain technical and administrative documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
10+ years of program or project management experience, preferably supporting federal or defense programs.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Demonstrated experience managing complex technical projects involving software development and cloud environments.
Proven ability to manage scope, risks, resources, budgets, and timelines in a dynamic environment.
