Our client is an award winning global integrator supporting a large federal security and background screening program. They are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead end to end project delivery across software development, cloud hosting, operations, and continuous enhancement efforts. This role works directly with government stakeholders and oversees execution across multiple technical teams.
Per our Federal Government Contract, candidates must be U.S. Citizens with an ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE.
Responsibilities:
• Lead full lifecycle project management across development, cloud, security, and operations.
• Serve as the primary liaison to government program offices, providing weekly updates and participating in status reviews/IPRs.
• Manage scope, schedules, risks, budgets, resources, and dependencies.
• Drive Agile/DevSecOps execution and ensure alignment across engineering, security, testing, and deployment teams.
• Track milestones, deliverables, and performance metrics; prepare executive‑level briefings and reports.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards, contractual requirements, and federal regulations.
• Oversee subcontractor activities and maintain all project documentation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of project/program management—ideally in federal or defense environments.
• Experience managing complex technical programs (software, cloud, cybersecurity, or enterprise systems).
• Strong skills in schedule/risk management, stakeholder communication, and cross team coordination.
• Experience with Agile and DevSecOps practices.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, GitLab, or MS Project.
• Active Top Secret Clearance (required).
Preferred Qualifications:
• PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or other PM/Agile certifications.
• Federal contracting or regulated environment experience.
• Background supporting cloud or cybersecurity initiatives.
