F2 Systems is seeking a Software Development Manager to support the Marine Corps as part of the MCTSSA Warfighter Support Division program.
This role supports the Program Manager and Information Management Lead by coordinating and managing multiple application development efforts while contributing technical expertise to the team. The position requires a professional who is comfortable managing timelines, organizing development priorities, and communicating with stakeholders while also possessing strong technical experience in modern Microsoft development environments.
The Software Development Manager will oversee several simultaneous development initiatives across SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform environments. The individual in this role must be able to guide development efforts, translate requirements into actionable technical tasks, and contribute to the overall architecture and evolution of the program’s application portfolio.
This position is well suited for someone with a strong development background who has grown into a technical management role, but still enjoys remaining technically engaged.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Program Manager and Information Management Lead in coordinating application development activities across the program
- Manage timelines and priorities for multiple concurrent software development efforts
- Translate operational requirements into clear technical tasks and development objectives
- Coordinate with developers to ensure projects remain on schedule and aligned with customer priorities
- Provide technical input on architecture, design decisions, and implementation approaches
- Assist in reviewing and guiding development work to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable
- Track development progress and communicate status, risks, and milestones to program leadership
- Support planning and prioritization of application enhancements, modernization efforts, and new development initiatives
- Assist with managing the development backlog and coordinating releases across multiple applications
- Ensure development efforts remain aligned with contract scope and available funding
Required Experience:
- 5+ years experience supporting software development efforts in enterprise or government environments
- Strong experience with Microsoft 365 application development environments such as:
- SharePoint Online
- Power Apps
- Power Automate
- Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Experience coordinating or managing software development projects or teams
- Ability to communicate effectively with both developers and non technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously
- Active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one
- Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting Department of Defense or government IT programs
- Background as a software developer or SharePoint developer
- Familiarity with Agile or iterative development environments
- Experience supporting enterprise collaboration or application modernization efforts
