Network Specialist

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Specialist to support a company focused on delivering advanced networking and IT solutions to government customers. This position is on-site at the Pentagon . The Network Specialist will provide expert-level networking support, engineering, and troubleshooting in a mission-critical environment. Join a team supporting high-visibility government initiatives and ensuring secure, reliable network operations for national defense missions.

Responsibilities for the Network Specialist include:

• Provide advanced Cisco networking support including routing, switching, engineering, and troubleshooting
• Serve as a highly client-facing liaison with government officials, including Marine Corps stakeholders
• Translate government technical requirements into actionable tasks for internal teams
• Support the design, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise network environments
• Diagnose and resolve complex network issues in real time within a secure ecosystem

Required Qualifications for the Network Specialist include:

• 10+ years of IT experience with a heavy focus on enterprise networking
• Hands-on experience with Cisco technologies including routing, switching, and network engineering
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to communicate clearly with government customers
• IAT Level III certification and CCNA required
• Active Top Secret clearance required

Compensation for the Network Specialist includes:

• Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000 depending on experience
• Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick leave as required by law
