Description:Signal Reconnaissance (SR) Program

System Administration
The team handles routine backups, security patch application, and compliance maintenance across Linux and Windows physical and virtual systems. They manage baseline configuration, provide Active Directory and LDAP user account support, troubleshoot technical issues, and administer certificate services.
Virtualization
Virtual infrastructure is overseen with VMware ESXi/vCenter and Hyper V. Responsibilities include provisioning, maintaining, and de commissioning virtual machines to meet evolving workload demands.
Network Administration
Under senior engineer guidance, the team assists with configuring and monitoring Ethernet switches, routers, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention devices. They also support network infrastructure upgrades and re configuration projects.
System Engineer and DevSecOps Support
Automation tasks are performed using Ansible, Bash, and PowerShell. The group maintains CI/CD pipelines, repository tools, cloud infrastructure, and containerized workloads such as GitLab, Nexus, and Kubernetes.
Documentation & Collaboration
Process, procedure, and hardware/software lifecycle documentation is kept current. Team members update Atlassian Jira issues and Confluence pages regularly and participate in scheduled team meetings.
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience and a bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in a related discipline, or additional experience/combined education in lieu of degree
• Active CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
• Experience working with Windows/Linux operating systems
• Confident applying STIG controls to system and network devices
• Knowledge of basic system administration tasks such as account management, backup/recovery, troubleshooting, and customer support
• Ability to manage virtual environments including VMware and Hyper-V
• Experience with automation frameworks and/or scripting languages such as Ansible, PowerShell, or Bash
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure and containerized workloads, including platforms such as Kubernetes
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, operate independently with minimal direction, and proactively drive tasks to completion in support of mission objectives
• Comfortable writing technical documentation of processes and procedures
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance before starting and willingness to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with Public Key Infrastructure including certificate management and Multi-Factor Authentication
• Knowledge in backup processes and procedures including network-attached storage devices and backup software
• Practical experience in the design, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of enterprise classified network computing infrastructure including but not limited to: Ethernet switches, routers, firewalls, and IDPS
• Balance multiple projects and priorities throughout different information systems
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
