Baer is looking for SAP S4 Finance Lead for a 9 month Federal Project located in Harrisburg, PA.

Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed

Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Lead to drive finance transformation initiatives and support end-to-end finance processes in SAP S/4HANA. This role leads the finance functional team and oversees financial reporting, closing activities, treasury, grants, asset accounting, and related finance operations.

Description

• Lead design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions.
• Manage financial reporting, analytics, and month-end/year-end closing processes.
• Support Funds Management, Grants Management, and Grantee Management award-to-report processes (including budgeting and RRB).
• Oversee Asset Accounting, Finance Operations, Loans Management, and Treasury Management processes.
• Implement and support SAP Contract, Lease, and Real Estate Management (RE-FX).
• Ensure integration between finance and other SAP modules.
• Provide leadership for finance solution design and transformation initiatives.
• Create solution component strategies and implementation plans.
• Estimate effort for ongoing and proposed work.
• Establish delivery standards and work product guidelines.
• Allocate and manage team resources effectively.
• Prepare and present regular status updates.
• Resolve workstream-level issues and escalate when necessary.
• Provide guidance for solution design and identify key integration points across modules.
• Assist in evaluating complex solution design scenarios.

Requirements

• Strong experience leading SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations.
• Expertise in Financial Reporting & Analytics and financial close processes.
• Experience with Funds Management, Grants Management, Asset Accounting, and Finance Operations.
• Knowledge of Loans Management, Treasury Management, RE-FX, and Grantee Management award-to-report processes.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
