Core work hours are 6:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Government holidays, at multiple customer sites or at CRI HQ.

Qualifications
- This role will require electrical responsibilities, so experience in the electrical trades and trade specific license/certification is a must.
- Master Electrician license for Virginia is required.
- Knowledge and experience with access control, video and intrusion detection systems is a plus.
- QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE - A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Knowledge and minimal experience with access control, video and intrusion detection systems is a plus.
- Should be knowledgeable in the safe and proper use of the following tools: ladders, lifts, basic hand tools, voltmeter, pneumatic and manual conduit bending tools, corded and cordless power tools, Lockout/Tagout, safety goggles, ear protection and fire extinguisher.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Have the ability to write routine reports and correspondence in English.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as load balancing, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations.
- Have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule format.

Responsibilities
- An Electrical Security Technician will be responsible to assist in the hands-on installation and maintenance of physical security systems and devices for the safe, efficient, and proper operations in federal government facilities.
- Electrical Security Technician will serve as a subject matter expert for the installation team for minor electrical needs such as power sources, wiring, conduit installation, etc.
- Assist with the development and improvement work instructions, SOP's and operational procedures for security installations.
- Performs visual and operational inspection of associated equipment and interprets specifications, blueprints and job standards to perform assigned duties.
- Determines and/or assists with analyzing and resolving work problems and achieving work goals.
- Must be comfortable and flexible enough to work with a wide-ranging and changing scope of responsibilities while adhering to the constraints of procedures put in place to minimize the risk for human error.
- Team player with the desire to foster teamwork to help create a positive working environment.
- Complies with all policies and procedures established for the building, including safe storage, usage, and disposal of materials while maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

- Advanced computer skills including familiarity with MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and proficient in other relevant applications.
