We are seeking a Program Manager III, for our client at Fort Detrick, MD (Contingent upon job award) to support the Program Executive Office Soldier (PEOS), Project Manager Soldier Medical Devices (PM SMD), Materiel Fielding and Medical Liaison Support Services. PM SMD consists of the following: provides Medical Materiel Support to all Army components facilitating optimal healthcare and worldwide medical readiness through; the procurement, assembly, and distribution of Medical Equipment and Medical Materiel Sets, Kits, Outfits (SKOs), the disassembly of previously fielded medical materiel and equipment, the management of excess medical materiel, the provision of disposition instructions, the management of on-hand medical materiel inventory, and the provision of technical assistance for medical materiel sustainment operations including training on Army automated logistics systems. About the Position:
The Program Manager will oversee and supervise staff assigned to this contract, including the contract phase in and phase out. The PM will ensure that all tasks are performed efficiently, accurately, on time, and in compliance with the requirements. This role involves ensuring efficient, accurate, and timely performance of tasks, coordinating with the Contracting Officer's Representative, and managing the timeliness, completeness, and quality of problem identification and corrective actions.
Responsibilities include:
• Oversee and supervises staff assigned to the contract, including transition in and out.
• Ensure tasks are performed efficiently, accurately, on time, and in compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with the COR to ensure task management aligns with overall contract requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of invoices.
• Contribute to the development and management of an operational plan containing essential program/project planning information.
• Manage the timeliness, completeness, and quality of problem identification and corrective actions.
• Provide integration of information management business practices and rules into the operational architecture.
• Ensure all analysis and reporting adhere to relevant military standards, protocols, and security requirements.
Qualification:
• Current DOD Secret security clearance
• Eight plus years of experience in program management and Army logistics.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills in support of Government contracts.
• Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement and Defense Travel Regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of Army automated logistics systems and medical logistics programs.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in English.
• Must possess excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Travel: Up to 50% Annually, CONUS and OCONUS
