Managing Consultant SAP Data and Analytics

Your role and responsibilities

As a Consultant specializing in SAP HANA Data & Analytics, you will own the SAP Data & Analytics Solution Architecture and the end to end data lifecycle and migration activities. Your expertise will cover SAP S/4 HANA Analytics, SAP BW Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Data Services and other SAP ETL solutions such as SAP Datasphere. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Design Solution Architecture: Develop and maintain the overall SAP Business Analytics Solution Architecture, ensuring seamless integration of various SAP analytics solutions, including SAP S/4 HANA Analytics, SAP BW Analytics and SAP Analytics CLoud.
• Lead BW Implementation: Leverage your strong SAP BW Implementation experience to lead implementation projects, utilizing your knowledge of BW modelling, SAC/BOBJ Universe Design, and Report Development tools.
• Develop HANA Information Models: Design and develop HANA Information Models, applying your understanding of data modelling principles and data warehousing concepts.
• Integrate Non-SAP Solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate non-SAP technology and solutions, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• Implement ETL Jobs: Design and implement Business Objects Data Services ETL jobs to meet business requirements, ensuring seamless data flow and integration within the Business Objects Enterprise landscape.
• Support Complex Data Flows: Utilize your experience with Business Objects Data Services and other ETL solutions to support end to end data flows, troubleshooting issues, and optimizing data processing.
• Manage Data Replication: Handle HANA replication with Data Services and loading with SAP DMC, ensuring efficient data management and integration.
• Develop Data Solutions: Apply hands-on skills in SAP BODS, SAP BOIS, SAP SDI, SAP DATA HUB, SAP DMC, and SAP Data Migration to develop data solutions for S/4 HANA and other SAP products.

This role involves examination, possession or transfer of controlled goods and technology as defined under the Canadian Controlled Goods Program and ITAR data/technology. To be eligible for employment in this role, you must be a Canadian citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident. Canadian citizens and permanent residents must be security assessed under the Canadian controlled goods program. All applicants will also be required to undergo an additional security assessment conducted by an IBM designated Controlled Goods Program official as a condition of employment.

• SAP Business Analytics Solution Architecture: Experience with designing and maintaining overall SAP Business Analytics Solution Architecture, integrating various SAP analytics solutions, including SAP S/4 HANA Analytics, SAP BW Analytics, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• HANA Information Model Design: Experience with designing and developing HANA Information Models, applying data modelling principles and data warehousing concepts.
• SAP Data Solution Development: Experience with developing data solutions using SAP BODS, SAP BOIS, SAP SDI, SAP DATA HUB, SAP DMC, and SAP Data Migration for S/4 HANA and other SAP products.
• ETL Job Implementation: Experience with implementing Business Objects Data Services ETL jobs, ensuring seamless data flow and integration.
• Data Replication Management: Experience with handling HANA replication with Data Services and loading with SAP DMC, ensuring efficient data management and integration.
• Public Sector Industry Knowledge: Experience working with Public Sector organizations to ensure successful project delivery, meeting client expectations and achieving project goals.
• Security Clearance: Enhanced Reliability (at least).

• Advanced SAP Information Management Skills: Experience with multiple SAP EIM tools, including SAP BODS, SAP BOIS, SAP SDI.
• SAP BW Implementation: Experience in leading SAP BW implementation projects, utilizing knowledge of BW modelling, SAC/BOBJ Universe Design, and Report Development tools.
• Integration of Non-SAP Technology: Experience with integrating non-SAP technology and solutions, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.
• New BI Tools: Experience with new BI tools, such as SAP VI, Predictive, and Zen, evaluating their potential applications and impact on existing architectures.
• DATA HUB, SAP DMC, and SAP Data Migration, to develop comprehensive data solutions for S/4 HANA and other SAP products.
• Complex Data Flow: Experience in supporting and optimizing complex ETL data flows using Business Objects Data Services, including troubleshooting and optimizing data processing.
• Public Sector Industry Knowledge: Experience working with Government and Defence organizations, utilizing business knowledge to ensure successful project delivery and achieving project goals.
• Security Clearance: Secret (preferred).
