As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government waterfront location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to concerns with clear communication and customer service. You will document activity, support access control procedures, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, employees and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government facility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and/or requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site contacts and public agencies as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, waterfront perimeters and other assigned areas to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify authorization as required, and assist with directing pedestrian and vehicle traffic in accordance with site procedures.
• Document daily activities, incident details and patrol observations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• An active DoD Secret clearance is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
