You will complete routine patrols and documented checks to help reduce security-related incidents, respond to alarms and/or requests for assistance, and communicate clearly with employees and guests. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aero and defense location.
- Control access at entry points by verifying identification and/or credentials, processing visitors and contractors, issuing temporary badges when authorized, and maintaining required access logs.
- Monitor alarms, CCTV, and access control systems, and report and/or document unusual activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, supporting evacuations as directed, and coordinating with on-site personnel and/or public responders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including exterior approaches and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
