Required Skills & Qualifications
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
- Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
- 7 years of work-related engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3 years with a Master's or PhD
- Prior Systems Engineering experience, including system design, functional decomposition, requirements development, analysis, verification, and validation
- Experience with MBSE, Cameo/MSOSA, and/or SysML
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience developing system architectures for complex aerospace vehicles using MBSE (SysML/MSOSA)
- Leadership experience in system architecture or lead systems engineering roles
- Understanding of various engineering analyses, including safety, reliability, and system security
- Familiarity with aircraft/flight systems and domain-specific engineering (ME, EE, SW)
- Active Secret Clearance
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop and decompose system architecture using MBSE (SysML/Cameo)
- Lead cross-functional engineering teams to meet program commitments
- Implement MBSE as part of a digital engineering ecosystem
- Conduct requirements decomposition, system analysis, and verification & test planning
- Capture engineering efforts in the MBSE model
