Job Description

Assists in coordinating and maintaining the Technical Operations Group (TOG) security systems' functionality. In the absence of the TOG Team Lead, acts as primary TOG interlocutor with client representatives and incorporates client operational and policy requirements into TOG operations. Maintains quality control and assurance standards in accordance with client requirements. Provides direct support to Diplomatic Security Command Center (DSCC) leadership and DSCC Watch needs as assigned. Assists in maintaining command and control of TOG staff, including fulfillment of corporate requirements such as performance and annual evaluations, pay raise recommendations, mentoring, and coordinating employee development needs. Develops, maintains, and interacts with liaisons within the intelligence and law enforcement communities. Participates in formal interagency committees, conferences, task forces, and working groups to ensure the protection of national security information, facilities, and personnel at diplomatic facilities. The Intelligence Analyst II is responsible for working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition, to support technical operations and reporting requirements.

Key Duties

  • Assist TOG Team Lead; maintain command and control of TOG staff. 1
  • Support DSCC leadership/watch needs; uphold quality control and assurance standards. 1
  • Manage performance/annual evaluations, mentoring, and development needs. 1
  • Liaise with intelligence and law‑enforcement communities; participate in interagency committees/working groups.
Requirements
• Current U.S. Government final Top Secret security clearance and approved for SCI access upon employment.
• Eligible for and able to obtain and maintain required security clearance/access approvals.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of experience in an Intelligence Analyst I role in the TOG, or equivalent, with demonstrated ability to maintain command and control of TOG staff.
• Prior military experience preferred; experience as a Marine Security Guard or duty in a watch/operations center is highly desirable.
• Geospatial imagery experience is a plus.
• Experience with security video and alarm system software in a security/operations center environment, including video analysis, editing, and/or production.
• Demonstrated experience working with data throughout its lifecycle, including collection, management, analysis, reporting, and secure disposition.
• Detail-oriented and accountable for a high standard of precision in work product.
• Motivated and able to work effectively and professionally in a demanding, time-sensitive, and often charged environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to maintain individual skill sets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and able to learn new software as needed.
• Self-motivated and able to work effectively under minimum supervision.
• Experience managing a variety of support functions in a high-profile environment is ideal.
• Strong communication and writing skills required.
• Experience with the interpretation and implementation of government regulations and policies and/or a strong understanding of Bureau of Diplomatic Security worldwide operations highly preferred.
