Epsilon C5I, is focused on software development, intelligence production, and systems engineering for ISR operations, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Full-Time Scrum Master I. The successful candidate will need to possess a current CSM certificate from the Scrum Alliance. A CSM is required, however an A-CSM is preferred. This candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a high-performance environment for their Developers and working hand in hand with the governments Certified Scrum Product Owner. The ideal candidate will be adept at Coaching & Mentoring software developers in the implementation of Agile principles, with a daily focus on the Pillars & Values of the Scrum framework. Scrum Master will support the National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC) by performing activities focused on assisting the Air Force move forward with digital transformation. Successful candidates will have strong problem solving and critical thinking skills that result in the creation of a Team Dynamic most conducive to optimal performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with Government appointed Product Owner to ensure a clear and prioritized backlog.
  • Remove impediments as issues arise and promote a culture of continuous improvement within their team.
  • Coach and mentor team members on Agile best practices.
  • Foster collaboration and communication between other cross-functional mission area teams as well as collaboration with any related enterprise teams.
  • Ensure that the Scrum framework is followed and adapted as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science (Preferably in the STEM field).
  • Three or more years' experience as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM).
  • Applicants must hold an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance, with SCI access or the ability and willingness to obtain a clearance.
  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles and the Scrum framework as dictated by the Scrum Alliance
  • Ability to facilitate and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Adept at identifying and resolving impediments to team progress, both technical & operational
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Project, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective team player with highly proficient customer service skills.
  • Flexible and able to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
  • Pursuant to the various government contractual requirements, all applicants must be U.S. Citizens.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM).
  • Additional Agile certifications (CSPO, CAF, etc.).
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, etc.
  • Familiarity with software development processes.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.

  • Noise conditions range from very quiet to very noisy.
  • Prolonged use of computer (typing/keyboarding).
  • Frequently required to sit for long periods of time, stand, and walk.
  • Ability to travel by car, air or other means of transportation, if required
