Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law. Responsibilities
A week in the life of an Aerospace Engineering Intern:
- Contribute as a member of an advanced technical team focused on current challenges within the Department of War
- Use modern digital engineering tools to support assessments and evaluations of DoW programs
- Support performance of aerospace modeling and simulation as part our engagements with key programs
- Contribute as part of the DTE&A team to conducting aerospace system performance assessments, modeling of system dynamics and aerodynamics, subsystem and payload performance analysis, and documenting analytical outputs.
- Assist with the following:
- Evaluation of designs, developments, protoypes, systems of systems, and related command and control systems.
- Develop, integrate, and validate models of aerospace systems and subsystems; assess systems performance in relation to mission models and requirements
- Evaluation of test plans and execution
- May have the chance to work with various programming languages (C/C++, R, Python, etc), MATLAB, CAMEO, AFSIM and similar systems
Qualifications
- High School diploma and 2 years of college or related work experience
