As the Senior AV/VTC Engineer, the individual will provide VTC Engineering and Administration support by deploying, STIG'ing, operating, patching, maintaining, and monitoring the CCoE G6 Visual Information System / VTC systems. In this role, the Senior AV/VCT Engineer will have the ability to troubleshoot, repair, and support for NIPRNET, SIPRNET and JWICS VTCs, while serving as the subject matter experts and escalation point for the team. In addintion, the Senior AV/VTC Engineer will plan, organize, direct, and control project activities required to ensure the effective execution of audiovisual communications systems engineering, operations, installation, integration, and support services. The Senior AV/VTC Engineer will provide technical direction to junior technicians, resolve technical issues associated with the day-to-day operations of the Audio/Visual equipment, and implement new solutions and technology changes.

Responsibilities
- Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities required to ensure the effective engineering, implementation, and operation of audiovisual communications systems
- Provides pro-active and ongoing quality-control oversight and management of all project-related activities through direction, supervision, inspection, and documentation
- Maintains current, accurate and complete technical manuals, SOPs, TTPs, plans and specifications
- Coordinates with cross-functional/engineering departments during design and implementation of audio-visual solutions
- Prepares the installation and implementation plans, requests for change (RFCs), manages the plans while preparing and implementing processes and procedures
- Determines necessary changes in design for technical refreshments and requirements changes
- Implements quality practices to continuously improve customer satisfaction
- Maintains current knowledge of products, processes, and materials
- Trains and mentors team members in design and implementation concepts, practices and procedures and provides technical and product advice for their advancement
- Responsible for ensuring completion of Flow Diagrams, Drawings (As-Builts)
- Implement Preventative Maintenance and Check Schedule (PMCS) practices for equipment and work areas
- Installation of audio-visual equipment such as projectors, displays, video walls, speakers, cabling
- Ability to lead AV system installations (Boardrooms, Classrooms, Conference Rooms)
- Performs other tasks as required by OSC and the Government contracting office
Required Qualifications/Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have and maintain a Secret Clearance and eligibility for a Top Security with SCI eligibility
- 8570 IAT/IAM Level-II certification, Active Security + Certification, or Higher
- Minimum Eight (8) years of Audio-Visual Engineering experience
- Corporate, military, or government AV video conferencing experience
- Ability to implement and configure technologies, such as Cisco Telepresence, Vbrick, Crestron, Polycom, Cisco EX, DX, and C Series endpoints
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Crestron AV programming
Preferred Qualifications/Education and Experience
- Associate Degree in Information Systems
- Crestron Training Certs (CTI) in the following order:
- CTI-Core
- CTI-Technician
- CTI-Crestron Flex
- CTI-P101
