This role is based in Evendale, Ohio, supporting Support Equipment Product Supportwithin our services and product support organization. The team provides engineering and project management supportfor support equipment and capital assets across multiple engine product lines, including F110, F118, F101, J85, TF34, and common Edison Works product lines.

We partner closely with cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, quality, and program management to deliver on customer commitments, drive continuous improvement, and ensure support equipment readiness for our global military and commercial customers.
Role Overview

The Project Manager, Support Equipment Product Supportis responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of service and support equipment projectsto fulfill customer requirements while meeting financial and commercial objectives.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead support equipment product support and CIP (Continuous Improvement Program) activities, providing both project management and engineering oversight.
  • Manage scope, schedule, cost, and qualityfor assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and alignment with business targets.
  • Provide technical leadershipand guidance to cross-functional teams, leveraging your engineering background and analytical skills.
  • Operate with some autonomy within established policies and standards, using sound judgment to adapt procedures as needed to achieve acceptable results in terms of quality, volume, and timeliness.

This is an on-site positionin Evendale, OH.
Key Responsibilities
Project & Service Execution

Lead service and support equipment projectsfrom planning through execution, including scope, timing, cost, and quality management, to fulfill customer orders and needs. Own and manage CIP-related projectsfor support equipment, ensuring robust execution and alignment with business priorities. Apply project management methodologies and standardsfor scheduling, tracking, and controlling project performance against cost, schedule, and quality targets. Ensure timely and accurate documentationof technical data and project deliverables in accordance with engineering and program policies and procedures.
Technical Leadership & Product Support

Provide technical leadershipto personnel and cross-functional teams supporting assigned support equipment and product lines (F110/F118/F101/J85/TF34 and related Edison Works products). Execute or oversee design, analysis, and evaluationof assigned engineering projects using sound engineering principles. Utilize in-depth technical knowledge and analytical thinkingto troubleshoot issues, evaluate options, and recommend solutions across a range of support equipment and capital assets.
People Leadership & Collaboration

Provide direct people leadershipfor assigned team members, including staffing input, coaching, and performance development as applicable. Act as a resource and mentorto colleagues with less experience; lead small projects or workstreams with low to moderate risk and resource requirements. Facilitate collaboration across functions(engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, program management) to resolve issues and drive project success. Clearly communicate status, risks, and significant developmentsto stakeholders, helping drive alignment and consensus on key decisions.
Continuous Improvement, Judgment & Governance

Identify and implement process improvementsto enhance safety, quality, delivery, and cost for support equipment and related services. Use sound judgmentto propose solutions outside of set parameters when addressing more complex technical or operational challenges, particularly where there is interdependence across production or service cycles. Stay aware of industry best practices, competitive landscape, and differentiating factors, and incorporate these insights into project and support strategies. Participate in and sometimes lead organizational initiatives, technical reviews, and program reviews, contributing to broader business objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
    • OR a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experiencein services project management, engineering, or related job family functions
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering capacity(e.g., design, analysis, product support, or related technical discipline)
  • Clearance / Export:
    • Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
    • This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information(see Closing section)
Desired / Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical & Domain Experience:
    • 5+ years of Support Equipment, Test Cell, or Capital Equipmentexperience
    • Experience in process engineeringor continuous improvement initiatives
    • Strong technical aptitude, including proficiency with applicable engineering tools and systems
  • Leadership & Collaboration Skills:
    • Strong oral and written communicationskills
    • Strong interpersonal and leadershipskills, with the ability to influence others and lead small teams or workstreams
    • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
    • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Problem Solving & Execution:
    • Effective problem identification and resolutionskills
    • Proven ability to leverage analytical thinking and technical experienceto develop solutions and drive execution
    • Experience with lean/continuous improvementpractices; Flight Deckexperience and a desire to coach and mentor othersis a plus
