Northrop Grumman is seeking an experienced leader to serve as a Mgr. Field Engineering Services 3 supporting the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Design, Engineering, Production and Sustainment (DEPS) Program. This position will be located in Port Hueneme, or San Diego, CA. The candidate must possess extensive experience supporting U.S. Navy Maintenance and Logistics and the demonstrated ability to effectively manage and operate in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $159,500.00 - $239,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Northrop Grumman Sustainment IPT Lead Manager responsible for cost and schedule for all things sustainment for LCS Mission Packages.
- Perform as a functional manager for 75 Northrop Grumman employees distributed between 6 managers at the Naval Base Ventura County, Naval Base San Diego, and Naval Base Mayport with personnel in Singapore and Bahrain. This role as the LCS DEPS Sustainment lead includes subcontract management with about 75 personnel from 3 separate subcontractors. This position requires strong leadership and customer engagement skills, strategic thinking, a winning attitude, strong program and functional management and staffing skills with a collaborative approach to team building.
Basic Qualifications:
- BS Degree in STEM Field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience. An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Must have 8 years' experience within a government maintenance environment
- Must have 6 years of previous leadership or supervisory experience in a government maintenance or operations/assembly environment
- Must have advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Must be available to work any shift
- Must have a current/active DOD Secret Clearance. Secret Clearance is required to start. Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance if selected for this position and maintain this level clearance for continued employment.
- Travel 10 - 25% (CONUS or OCONUS if necessary)
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15 years or more experience in a leadership role with an emphasis on team building, collaboration, communication and serving as a visible representative of the company to the Navy Customer and their representatives
- Experience as a manager within Northrop Grumman is highly desired
- Prior military experience with supervising US Navy Maintenance and Logistics programs
- Prior experience with the Navy's LCS Class Ship and Mission Package Program is desired
- Demonstrated ability in management of multiple projects
- Experience in all aspects of employee relations and employee management including staffing, recruiting, performance management, training and career development
- Hands-on experience in test and evaluation is desired
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills with a high level of internal and external engagement, acting as an advisor to individual contributors, senior management and customers on advanced technical research studies and applications.
