Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Scrum Master to support a U.S. Army organization focused on advanced simulation, training, and testing technologies. This position is onsite in Orlando, Florida . This is a direct hire opportunity supporting a mission-critical program advancing live, virtual, and constructive training ecosystems for multi-domain operations.
The Scrum Master will facilitate Agile delivery across cross-functional development teams supporting U.S. Army training, simulation, and AI/VR modernization initiatives. The role ensures consistent application of Agile practices, efficient team-level delivery, and alignment across technical and program stakeholders.
Responsibilities for the Scrum Master include:
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
• Coach development teams on Scrum, Kanban, and Lean principles to drive continuous improvement
• Coordinate delivery across multi-disciplinary engineering teams supporting modeling, simulation, cloud, and AI/VR capabilities
• Remove impediments and escalate risks to ensure consistent progress and alignment with program objectives
• Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain well-prioritized and actionable product backlogs
• Track and report team performance metrics, velocity trends, and sprint outcomes to leadership
• Support cross-team synchronization for capability releases within the CPE STRI program
Required Qualifications for the Scrum Master include:
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or Agile Project Lead
• Demonstrated experience supporting two or more full Agile projects from initiation through completion
• Proven success managing delivery across cross-functional or multi-disciplinary teams
• Strong understanding of Scrum, Kanban, and Lean methodologies
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent
• Active Secret security clearance required
Compensation for the Scrum Master includes:
• Salary Range: $100,000 - $125,000
