Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a RF/Communications Engineer join a trusted government solutions partner located in McLean, VA. The RF/Communications Engineer will support government programs by ensuring data is accurate, complete, consistent, and reliable for informed decision-making, system integration, and enterprise operations. This position will be on-site in Orlando, FL five days per week!

Responsibilities of the RF/Communications Engineer include:
- Support the analysis and design of RF and communications architectures.
- Assist with frequency planning, spectrum management coordination, and interference mitigation.
- Support the integration of communications systems with platforms, networks, and training systems.
- Contribute to the development and review of technical requirements, interface specifications, and communications plans.
- Support the installation, configuration, testing, and validation of RF and communications equipment.
- Participate in test events, demonstrations, and exercises.
- Support Government Acceptance Testing (GAT).
- Collect and analyze performance data related to coverage, reliability, latency, and interoperability.
- Troubleshoot communications issues and provide technical recommendations to improve system performance and resilience.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, network engineers, cybersecurity personnel, trainers, and program managers to ensure communications systems support mission objectives, safety requirements, and operational readiness.
Qualifications for the RF/Communications Engineer include:
- 5+ years of experience supporting RF or communications engineering within a DoD, Federal, or enterprise environment
- Demonstrated experience with:
- RF and communications system design and integration
- Spectrum management and frequency coordination
- Communications testing and performance analysis
- Interoperability and interference mitigation
- Technical documentation and stakeholder coordination
- Active Secret Clearance is Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, RF Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Compensation for the RF/Communications Engineer include:
- Salary Range: $120,000 - 125,000
