This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.

- You will direct a full range of contract procurements, administrative actions, source selection decisions, sole source justifications, and approvals.
- You will represent the command at top-level conferences attended by representatives from the Navy, other Government agencies, and the private sector.
- You will plan department workloads, provide assignments and direction aligned with command goals and objectives, set priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of department milestones.
- You will evaluate and analyze information provided by other departments and conduct organizational assessments to determine and recommend strategic direction for the department.
- You will perform as the immediate supervisor of multiple Supervisory Contract Specialists and indirect supervision of accountants, cost monitors, contract specialists, and property administrators.
- You will supervise the analysis of contractor cost proposals, Technical Advisory Reports (TARs) and Audit Advisory Reports (AARs).
- You will approve all contractual and technical performance over the life of the contract, issue correspondence, direction to contractors, document performance, and resolve disputes.
- You will conduct periodic management reviews for departmental compliance of acquisition policy, procedures, and regulations.
