Synchron has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Analyst to provide support to OPNAV N8 at the Pentagon. The primary role of this position will be to support the migration of ship maintenance data from an Oracle database into ADVANA/Jupiter to support stochastic analyses and future model rehosting.

Responsibilities:
- Make inputs into ADVANA and provide analytic support to maintenance models
- Provide requirement impacts analysis based on extensive knowledge of Fleet operations and Navy maintenance policy procedures
- Provide analysis in support of developing integrated Navy readiness reports, presentations, or special topic reviews of Navy readiness topics of leadership interest
- Provide analysis of policy impacts on Navy readiness based on extensive knowledge of Fleet operations and Navy maintenance policy and procedures
- Provide analysis of readiness trends, maintenance measures and metrics and impacts to support Fleet operations based on extensive knowledge of Fleet operations and Navy maintenance policy and procedures.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, math or science or a related field.
- Experience: 10 years of military service (DoD civilian included) or defense business operations analysis, Navy maintenance policy, or Navy readiness reporting.
- At least 8 years of experience related Navy Ship maintenance policy.
- Experience with Ship Maintenance Model and Maintenance Policy
- The successful candidate will be data driven and intellectually curious
- Active secret clearance
