Job Description:
Plays pivotal role in ensuring the successful deployment/support of personnel, equipment & Information Management/Information Technology (IM/IT) systems within theater environments. Position requires a blend of technical expertise, logistical proficiency, & strong understanding of military deployment procedures.
- Must have a valid passport & willing to travel up to 95%. - Travel is reimbursed by each specific trip. Travel is CONUS and OCONUS (OCONUS locations may include, but not limited to, Germany, Djibouti, Poland, Romania, etc.).
- Must meet medical requirements for deploying into theater. –This is regarding immunizations for OCONUS travel locations. For example, for Djibouti, there are vaccines needed, malaria pills, etc.
Required Skills:
- 5+ yrs hands-on exp supporting DoD electronic Health Record & web-based applications, encompassing both functional/technical aspects.
- Extensive expertise in all phases of the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including system definition, development, design, analysis & control, integration, testing.
- Profound understanding of privacy protection principles concerning sensitive health information, along with adeptness in managing data flow within integrated health systems.
- Hold min. IAT Level II cert with Security+.
- Proven capability to work autonomously, exhibiting self-motivation/initiative.
- Electronic Health Records (EHR) - P3.
- Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) - P3.
Desired Skills:
Possess comprehensive comprehension of military operational medicine, encompassing the provision of healthcare services across diverse deployed settings. This includes experience in field & combat support hospitals, amphibious assault & hospital ships, as well as air evacuation platforms.
