PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking an FAA Assembly Mechanic 1, in Phoenix, AZ.
Job Description:
As an FAA Assembly Mechanic Level 1, you will play a vital role in assembling, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Your responsibilities include identifying parts for replacement, ordering new parts as needed, and ensuring all machinery operates correctly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly: Build and assemble mechanical components to meet quality standards and specifications.
Maintenance & Testing: Perform routine maintenance and conduct functionality and safety tests on equipment.
Part Identification: Detect worn, damaged, or malfunctioning parts requiring replacement.
Ordering: Place orders for necessary parts to maintain operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; apprenticeship or formal training preferred.
Experience: 0-2 years in a related field.
Knowledge: Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
Supervision: Work under immediate supervision and follow established guidelines.
Reporting: Typically report to a supervisor or manager.
