Job Summary

• Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Scientist
• The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and statistical skills, a deep understanding of machine learning and data modeling, and the ability to extract meaningful insights from complex data sets to support business objectives

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform data curation, analytic development, data visualizations, and statistical analysis
• Design, develop, and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms
• Analyze large structured and unstructured datasets from various sources to uncover trends and patterns
• Communicate findings clearly through dashboards, visualizations, and reports
• Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering, product, and business teams to translate data into actionable insights

Required Qualifications

• Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position
• Experience leveraging AI/ML techniques for optimization, automation, and collection processing
• Proficiency with API interaction; reading/using/building tools to retrieve data
• Experience with Pandas Data frame and aggregation using Python
• XKS/DX proficiency and understanding of dataflow
• A SIGINT background is a strong foundation for this role

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with:
• • SIGINT data collection
  • Data Visualization capabilities with Plotly, Shapely, and GeoPandas
  • Splunk, SQL, Elastic, Kibana, or Networking
  • Front end web development using bootstrap (HTML) or Pyodide

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate's experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this role is:

130,000 - 185,000 USD per year (Ft. Meade MD)
