We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Responsible Officer (RO) to oversee the management of Accountable Personal Property within our organization.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Accountable Officer (AO) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies. The RO will be responsible for coordinating and executing various aspects of Accountable Personal Property management, including record-keeping, physical inventories, and asset transfers.
We are looking for an experienced Responsible Officer to join our technology-based program supporting a key government customer.

Full-Time Salary Range: $149603 - $254317
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Coordinate with Accountable Officer (AO): Collaborate with the AO to execute Accountable Personal Property responsibilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Record-Keeping and Management: Create, maintain, and manage accurate records of Accountable Personal Property, ensuring data integrity and up-to-date information.
- Physical Inventories: Conduct and complete required physical inventories, identifying and reporting any discrepancies or issues.
- Controls and Compliance: Establish and enforce controls for Accountable Personal Property, ensuring that all assets are properly accounted for and safeguarded.
- Transfer and Loan Approvals: Approve transfers and loans of Accountable Personal Property within the Accountable Activity, ensuring that all transactions are properly documented and authorized.
- Asset Record Updates: Update asset records in the approved customer accountable property record keeping system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Termination of Accountability: Coordinate with the AO for termination of accountability of non-capital Accountable Personal Property, ensuring that all necessary procedures are followed.
- Hand Receipts: Obtain and maintain signed Hand Receipts for all loaned property, ensuring that all assets are properly accounted for.
- Reassignment and Inventory: Notify the AO upon reassignment and conduct a joint physical inventory with the AO or replacement RO, ensuring a smooth transition of responsibilities.
