Software Engineer needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work onsite.
Candidates must have an active Secret Clearance to be considered for this role.
Onsite support is required for this role.
We are seeking an experienced Web Development Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, integrating front-end components with backend services, and ensuring high standards of code quality and user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that meet customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain web applications using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Ensure that products and project deliverables meet customer requirements and specifications.
• Conduct rigorous testing and troubleshooting to maintain high standards of product quality.
• Integrate React front-end components with backend REST APIs.
• Utilize Redux for application state management where applicable.
• Implement best practices in web development to improve efficiency and maintain delivery schedules.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance team coordination and development workflows.
• Work collaboratively within an Agile development environment.
• Maintain and manage source code using Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure high-quality user interactions and usability through adherence to UI/UX best practices.
• Communicate regularly with leadership regarding project status, milestones, issues, and successes.
• Provide proactive updates to stakeholders and support technical discussions across development teams.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in web development.
• Strong expertise in React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Redux for managing application state.
• Strong understanding of React concepts including functional components, hooks, and Context API.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.
• Experience using Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of user interaction design and frontend best practices.
• Some experience with UX design principles.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to drive process improvements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with leadership and team members.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge or experience with backend development using Java.
• Experience working with SQL databases.
