ECS is seeking a Senior Operations Deputy to work in our Fairfax, VA office.

The Senior Operations Deputy will report directly to the Program Manager of Business Operations.

The Senior Operations Deputy will report directly to the Program Manager of Business Operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Operations
- Work closely with Program Directors and Operation Teams to support and improve day-to-day business operations, ensuring priorities, initiatives, and activities are coordinated across delivery and internal operations.
- Provide operational support to Program Management Teams relating to procurement, staffing, recruiting, facilities, and ongoing program initiatives.
- Compile, proofread, and deliver weekly and monthly reports to management.
- Generate and maintain Service Line-level processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures that support consistent execution across programs and growth efforts.
- Analyze operations and business practices to improve efficiency; provide recommendations for processes and integration of tools that can improve automation, collaboration, or knowledge processes.
- Assist with knowledge management and Teams organization.
- Support planning and execution of large-scale program collaboration events and meetings.
Personnel
- Act as main point of contact for incoming employees - supporting the candidate onboarding process from offer acceptance to start of first day.
- Act as main point of contact for offboarding separating employees within the programs, coordinating with corporate departments.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and IT teams to resolve challenges and continuously improve onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Update personnel rosters, org charts, spreadsheets, and other internal trackers.
- Assist with developing a comprehensive internship pilot program within the Data & AI Service Line.
Procurement
- Provide procurement and subcontracting support to multiple programs.
- Support ongoing Subcontracts management for Data & AI Service Line to include maintaining Subcontracting program tracker for multiple data points, including periods of performance, dollar amount, points of contact, prime contracts, etc.
- Coordinate NDAs with multiple subcontractors spanning multiple programs.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active Secret Security Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
- 5+ years of experience in operations or business management; exposure to HR administration and recruiting a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Able to communicate effectively both in-person and through written correspondence with candidates, peers, managers, and leadership
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with the ability to quickly adjust to changing customer priorities
- A team player with proven ability to positively interact with peers and executive management
- Detail oriented, self-motivated, proactive, strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners
- Active Top Secret Clearance
- Experience with HR operations and recruitment
- Experience working in a role monitoring a process or workflow
- Experience with government contracts and purchasing
- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Experience in project or program management
- Certification in project management or business analysis (Security+, Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Certified Scrum Master (CSM)), or other related certifications are a plus
