Job Description:
In this role, you will take on the challenge of designing, developing, and implementing complex workflows, integrations, and portals within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring seamless configuration and optimization of the instance. You will play a pivotal role in delivering and supporting an early-stage ServiceNow system that empowers the client to execute their mission-critical business processes effectively, while also providing high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, and advice for solving moderately complex technical challenges.
Your responsibilities will span across multiple stages of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), requiring a hands-on approach to problem-solving, architecture, and innovation. You will apply advanced principles, methods, and knowledge of functional areas, including ITIL and CSDM best practices, to ensure platform development adheres to industry standards. Additionally, you will provide technical expertise in areas such as information systems architecture, networking, telecommunications, automation, risk management, software lifecycle management, and modeling and simulation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow workflows, integrations, and portals to support the client’s operational goals.
- Analyze and evaluate system recommendations for improvements, optimization, and maintenance efforts.
- Apply advanced mathematical principles and methods to challenging technical problems in engineering and scientific applications, delivering automated solutions.
- Lead efforts in system architecture, risk management, and software development methodologies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Provide documentation, integration, and implementation advice across multiple technical domains.
- Ensure compliance with ITIL and CSDM best practices, optimizing the ServiceNow instance for seamless operation.
- Act as a subject matter expert in new and related older technologies, ensuring broad technical understanding and practical application.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in IT or related fields.
- Deep technical understanding of ServiceNow capabilities, with experience in platform architecture, development, and optimization.
- Strong expertise in information systems architecture, telecommunications, automation, and software lifecycle management.
- Knowledge of ITSM, ITOM, VR, SIR, IRM.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide teams and stakeholders effectively.
