Install and validate electrical systems on unmanned aerial vehicles and defense hardware platforms. Core tasks include routing and installing wiring harnesses, terminating connectors, performing continuity and insulation resistance testing, and validating all electrical connections prior to system integration. Support power distribution design reviews and troubleshoot electrical faults during assembly and test phases. Maintain detailed wiring documentation and inspection records. Coordinate closely with mechanical and avionics teams to ensure electrical systems are properly integrated across the full vehicle.
Minimum Secret clearance required. Associate's degree in Electrical Technology, Electronics, or related field — or equivalent hands-on experience. Proficiency in wiring harness fabrication, connector termination (e.g., Deutsch, MIL-SPEC), and cable routing. Strong skills in continuity testing, multimeter use, and basic circuit troubleshooting. Familiarity with MIL-SPEC wiring standards (e.g., MIL-W-22759, AS50881) preferred. Experience in aerospace, defense, or automotive electrical assembly environments a plus.
