As the Structures Analysis Engineer - IFG you will be responsible for applying advanced stress analysis techniques to ensure the airworthiness and performance of fighter-aircraft structures. MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline such as Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering
- Experience with structural analysis of primary and secondary airframe structure
- Experience with metallic and composite analysis
Desired Skills:
- Experience with free-body diagrams, classical hand calculations, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) pre- and post-processing, Linux or other computer languages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team-based environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

What You Will Be Doing
As the Structures Analysis Engineer - IFG you will be responsible for applying advanced stress analysis techniques to ensure the airworthiness and performance of fighter-aircraft structures. Your responsibilities will include:
- Support F-16 Production and F-22 Sustainment Material Review Board (MRB) repairs to ensure discrepant parts or assemblies meet required strength standards.
- Perform stress analysis on metallic and composite materials, sizing detail parts and assessing the strength of primary and secondary aircraft structures and systems.
- Certify new and existing designs by performing strength analysis, releasing drawings, and preparing analysis reports.
- Evaluate and compare structural efficiency and weight for different structural arrangements and concepts through analysis and trade studies.
- Provide input for structural tests, including test requirements, loads, and predicted results.
