You will be the Facilities Engineer Sr (Level 3) for the Facilities Engineering team. Our team is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Mechanical Engineering or related degree with a minimum of three years professional experience
- Ability to read and execute engineering drawings and specifications with a strong understanding of CAD systems
- Experienced in HVAC, mechanical piping, plumbing systems and equipment design
Desired Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills
- Knowledge of equipment commissioning, Building Automation and Systems (BAS)
- Experience in managing contract performance of designers and contractors/subcontractors
- Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and ICC
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

- Plan, design, and oversee facility and equipment modifications while ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Gather and analyze data, develop detailed CAD (Auto-CAD) layouts, and coordinate design criteria with architecture/engineering firms.
- Prepare cost estimates for construction and facilities acquisition, covering equipment, labor, materials, and related expenses.
- Inspect construction and installation progress, verify drawings, and maintain the record-drawing system.
- Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
