Description:You will be the Structures Technician, for the C-130 Structures team which is responsible for maintaining and restoring aircraft structural integrity worldwide. This position will require frequent domestic and international travel (95%); based out of Greenville, SC.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Structures Technician, you will be responsible for delivering heavy depot-level maintenance, repair, and modification of C-130 airframe structures and major sub-assemblies. You will interpret technical manuals, use precision measuring equipment, and work closely with customers and crew members while traveling internationally.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Perform heavy depot-level maintenance, repair, and modification of C-130 aircraft structures and major sub-assemblies.
- Plan, layout, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet-metal and structural components using precision measuring equipment.
- Interpret technical manuals, safety rules, and maintenance instructions to ensure compliance and quality.
- Safely handle hazardous materials, wear required PPE, and operate in varied environments including high, confined, humid, and electrically charged areas.
- Collaborate with customers and flight crews, respecting cultural differences during extensive domestic and international travel.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start. Candidate must also have current active US Passport.
Physical Requirements: Physical Requirements:
This position may include certain military required health screenings and immunizations. Position may also require extended work hours. Regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive movements, work overhead, use hands to grasp, handle, and/or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, squat, crawl, and twist. Confined Space Entry.
Basic Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of C-130 or large aircraft structural repair or aircraft sheet metal experience
- Depot Level repair experience
- CFT environment experience
- Advanced ability to read blue prints, drawings, and schematics
Desired Skills:
- 7-10 Years of C-130 experience
- Military service experience
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
