Overview

LMI is seeking an experienced Program Coordinator to provide onsite (partial tele-work) program support to NASA's Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate (ARMD) at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC. The Program Coordinator will be assigned to support one of ARMD's Program Offices and will provide matrixed program coordination, project management, and operations support across the mission projects within that Program Office. The coordinator will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of programmatic information and documentation, facilitate project management and coordination among multiple activities, and support meetings and functions that advance the Program Office's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, edit, and maintain configuration control and protection of key documents and records for assigned program.
  • Update ARMD SharePoint with relevant information*, maintaining awareness of program or office activities, including shared calendars.
  • Support the development of program/project review documents and presentations, ensuring content is accurate and timely.
  • Create integrated milestone charts and documents for use by program management, reflecting progress and changes.
  • Compile and validate technical materials based on input from multiple sources for posting to program websites or sharing with internal stakeholders.
  • Incorporate edits for various documents, such as project plans and program plans, and integrate contributions from diverse sources for review by program leadership.
  • Collect, catalog, track program and project documentation, including plans, reports, external agreements, publications, and presentations.
  • Coordinate and support program-led meetings, and other events such as technical seminars, tabletop reviews, etc., including logistical planning, scheduling, and onsite meeting support.
  • Submit reports for public release using NASA's Form 1676 process and ensure compliance with required procedures.
  • Provide general program management and calendaring support for regular meetings and other key events, including agenda preparation, minute-taking, and action item tracking.
  • Coordinate with office leadership to identify training opportunities that benefit both the support being provided and career development.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, public administration, or aerospace studies with 3+ years of experience in a program coordination or project management context.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft SharePoint, and teleconferencing/web conferencing tools.
  • Basic understanding of NASA or government/aerospace research and design activities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with experience in document management and project coordination.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Curiosity and excitement to enact operational process improvements and explore new and innovative ways to optimize program operations (including through technology).
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred Requirements:
  • Experience working within a government or aerospace environment, particularly NASA.
  • Familiarity with NASA-specific tools such as STRIVES, Microsoft Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, Box.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft's suite of low/no-code automation and data management/analysis tools (e.g., PowerAutomate, PowerApps, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills, with experience in supporting high-level meetings and workshops.

Target salary range: $75,000-$95,000
