The expected salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $100,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).

Core Responsibilities Include:
- Lead end-to-end system walkthroughs with client process owners and technical staff
- Document system processes, data flows, and control activities with clarity and precision
- Identify control points, risks, and potential gaps during walkthrough discussions and communicate them to engagement leadership
- Ensure walkthrough documentation aligns with audit objectives, federal requirements, and firm methodology
- Draft and prepare project deliverables
- Prepare detailed, well-structured IT audit workpapers that clearly support testing procedures, results, and conclusions
- Review workpapers prepared by staff for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with firm standards
- Provide coaching and actionable feedback to staff to strengthen documentation quality and audit readiness
- Ensure all workpapers meet internal quality standards and are ready for manager and partner review
- Develop IT sampling plans
- Draft written audit findings/observations
- Draft clear, concise, and defensible Notices of Findings and Recommendations (NFRs) based on testing results and walkthrough observations
- Review NFRs prepared by staff to ensure accuracy, alignment with evidence, and consistency with federal audit requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Accounting or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more of the following fields: information technology, auditing, data analytics, compliance, risk management, and/or equivalent
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Galvanize [formerly, Audit Command Language (ACL)]
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Active Interim Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Federal Government or DoD engagements
- Familiarity with NIST SPs and/or FISCAM
- Experience working on a financial statement audit, FISMA, and/or SOC engagement
- Experience working with or auditing one or more of the following technologies: Microsoft Windows Server, Linux, Oracle databases, Microsoft SQL Server, Momentum, Oracle EBS, Oracle PeopleSoft, SAP and/or ACF2, RACF, and Top Secret Mainframe security packages
- Passed or holds a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Authorization Professional (CAP), UiPath Certified RPA Associate (UiRPA), UiPath Certified Advanced RPA Developer (UiARD), and/or CompTIA Security+
