Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol Rounds in Mesa, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at an aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, hangar and ramp areas, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
- Control access at gates, doors, and restricted areas by verifying authorization, checking credentials, and directing visitors, vendors, and deliveries according to site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site personnel and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Complete detailed shift reports and incident documentation, and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
