Description:
We are seeking an experienced Training Strategist to support Digital Engineering (DE) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) adoption efforts within a highly technical R&D environment. This role sits at the intersection of engineering processes, technology platforms, and workforce enablement—driving scalable, user-centered training strategies that accelerate digital transformation.
You will design and execute comprehensive training programs that increase proficiency, adoption, and effective use of PLM systems such as Aras Innovator, and other Digital Engineering tools and methodologies.
This is a high-visibility opportunity to partner with engineering, technical, and leadership stakeholders to build impactful learning experiences that directly support enterprise-wide modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement a comprehensive Digital Engineering training strategy aligned with organizational transformation goals.
• Conduct learning needs assessments and user research to identify skill gaps and training priorities.
• Develop and deliver role-based training programs for engineers, technical specialists, and leadership using blended learning methods (eLearning, workshops, demos, AI assistants, and knowledge bases).
• Translate complex technical content into accessible, engaging instructional materials in partnership with SMEs and functional leads.
• Design, develop, and oversee delivery of online, in-person, and hybrid training programs.
• Track training effectiveness and user adoption metrics; continuously refine content and delivery strategies using data insights.
• Maintain alignment with evolving Digital Engineering roadmaps and tool updates.
• Support change management initiatives related to system rollouts, onboarding, and digital capability growth.
• Maintain training documentation, environments, and data repositories.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Instructional Design, Education (Curriculum Development), Business Management (Marketing emphasis), or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of experience:
o Designing and delivering technical training programs.
o Developing user-focused instructional materials and interfaces.
o Assessing training effectiveness and recommending enhancements.
o Working with stakeholders to create and validate training strategies.
o Using training tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, SharePoint, LMS platforms, and Adobe software (Acrobat, InDesign).
o Maintaining training documentation, data, and environments.
• 5+ years working with R&D/STEM-related technical content.
• 3+ years’ experience working within an Agile development framework.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in Digital Engineering environments and PLM ecosystems.
• Familiarity with PLM tools such as Aras Innovator, Siemens Teamcenter, or Windchill.
• Knowledge of model-based systems engineering, digital thread concepts, and engineering lifecycle workflows.
• Experience using data visualization/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to measure training impact.
• Background in aerospace, defense, R&D, or other regulated engineering environments.
• Experience leading change management or user adoption initiatives.
