Description: The DevOps Support Engineer will bridge the gap between developers and systems administrators or others involved in operations as part of project teams for Government and commercial clients. The successful candidate will guide code releases from development to distribution using automation tools and frameworks to create a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline.

DevOps Engineer Job Duties:
  • Design, develop, and implement software based on user requirements
  • Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform and IAC.
  • Develop and deploy system fixes and troubleshoot production issues
  • Ensure code quality; test and distribute code updates
  • Use tools that automate the development, testing, and integration of software releases and fixes
  • Release new features and ensure they are stable
  • Analyze production errors to define and create tools that help mitigate problems in the system design stage
  • Apply user-defined integrations, improving the user experience
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and apply cloud computing skills, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) knowledge
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and use code deployment tools such as Ansible
  • Develop and maintain design and troubleshooting documentation such as user manuals
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Security Clearance Requirements: Active Top Secret Clearance required upon applying with eligibility to receive sensitive compartmentalized information (SCI) in the future. Must be a U.S. citizen.

Desired Skills / Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; 5 years working experience in IT technology, training development or training coordination. GraphQL/React/React Relay experience required.

Location: On-site in Chantilly, VA

Status: Full time

Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday

Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long durations of time. Also, must be able to continuously operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
