SOC is seeking a Network Operations Specialist to provide technical expertise for daily operations and maintenance of systems; Effectively troubleshooting, isolating, and resolving technical problems to minimize system downtime; Assisting with preparing and maintaining technical documentation, drawings and related artifacts; Support implementation of routine updates, approved upgrades and engineering or design changes; and Help to isolate and resolve technical issues and problems that impact multiple networks, systems, and devices.

High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
Active Secret clearance
Minimum 8 plus Years Experience in General IT
Minimum DOD 8570 Level
Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level III - Must possess at least two of the following certifications: a CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching, CISCO Certified Design Professional (CCDP), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
Employment Prerequisites:
The following requirements must be met to be eligible for this position: successful completion of a background investigation, drug urinalysis, and verified compliance with Executive Order 14042, Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors.

Technical Experience:
- Providing day to day operational routing and switching support with hands on experience with Cisco Routers and Switches, routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, RIP, etc.)
- Troubleshoot routing protocols and end-to-end network performance from the Local Area Network (LAN) through a Wide Area Network (WAN), to a Campus Area Network (CAN).
- Willingness to cross train and support multiple technologies in an operational environment including SATCOM, Voice, VDI/Virtualization.
- Support the system adherence to industry standards, DOD standards, DOD policies, DOD instructions, DOD directives, cybersecurity policies, and best commercial practices.
- Utilize ticketing systems for detailed documentation of outages and network change activities.
- Provide technical problem resolution for a wide range of network infrastructure problems or anomalies.
