Description: ACT1 Federal is seeking a Logistics Analyst III / Security Cooperation Specialist to support the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) and the Army Security Assistance Enterprise (ASAE) within the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) area of responsibility.
This position provides program management, logistics planning, and security cooperation support for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs, including coordination between USASAC, CENTCOM staff, and other Department of Defense stakeholders. The role serves as a key liaison to facilitate communication, strategic planning, and operational execution of security assistance initiatives supporting partner nations.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Army logistics, security cooperation, or Foreign Military Sales program management, and the ability to operate effectively within a complex inter-agency and international environment.

Responsibilities:
Security Cooperation & FMS Program Support
- Serve as a liaison between USASAC, DASA-DE&C, and CENTCOM staff to facilitate coordination and communication supporting security cooperation missions.
- Assist in the management and oversight of Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs, particularly those supporting major weapon system cases within the CENTCOM region.
- Support the review and coordination of Letters of Request (LORs) to ensure completeness and readiness for USASAC processing.
- Communicate the command's position on security cooperation matters with DoD organizations, Combatant Commands, military services, and foreign government representatives.
- Maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across the Army Security Assistance Enterprise (ASAE).
Logistics & Strategic Planning Support
- Perform analysis and detailed planning for logistics lifecycle support, including material, maintenance, sustainment, transportation, and personnel support.
- Support material fielding, sustainment planning, and logistics support planning for Army systems and major end items.
- Conduct feasibility analysis, logistics planning, requirements determination, and policy development to support security assistance programs.
- Provide milestone planning recommendations and participate in strategic planning and program review meetings.
Strategic Analysis & Reporting
- Research and analyze national and regional strategic documents and assess their impact on security assistance initiatives.
- Collect and analyze data related to security assistance strategies and plans, providing recommendations for USASAC leadership.
- Prepare and deliver studies, reports, memoranda, and briefing materials supporting mission requirements.
- Provide insight into regional political-military dynamics within the CENTCOM AOR that may impact security cooperation initiatives.
Program Coordination & Administrative Support
- Coordinate responses to taskers, inquiries, and requests for information from headquarters and partner organizations.
- Support travel forecasting, planning, and approval processes related to country program activities.
- Assist Level I and Level II logisticians with problem definition, analysis, and recommendations.
- Utilize organizational and communication skills to improve customer relationships, logistics operations, and stakeholder engagement.
Requirements
- Active Secret Security Clearance required with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following or a related field: Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Project Management, International Relations, Strategic Studies, Political Science, Economics, Accounting, Engineering, Computer Science, other related technical or professional disciplines. (Six additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.)
- Minimum of 8 years of logistics or technical experience, including experience related to logistics support planning, material fielding, or sustainment support.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic planning, logistics, acquisition management, or requirements analysis.
- Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS), security assistance, or security cooperation programs.
- Strong understanding of the US Army Security Assistance Enterprise (ASAE) and related policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze complex information and communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience working with USASAC or the Army Security Assistance Enterprise.
- Experience supporting Combatant Command (CCMD) operations, particularly CENTCOM.
- Former U.S. Army Logistician or Foreign Area Officer (FAO) highly desired.
- Experience working in international security cooperation environments.
