MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior CNO Vulnerability Researcher to join our team in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will lead and execute advanced vulnerability research initiatives while collaborating with highly skilled cyber professionals to deliver impactful mission outcomes.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Researching and discovering software vulnerabilities across diverse platforms and environments
- Reverse engineering software to identify security weaknesses and develop security mechanism bypasses
- Performing as a team lead on projects when suitable, providing technical direction and mentorship
- Designing, developing, documenting, and debugging user land and kernel software and systems
- Researching and maintaining proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer network vulnerabilities, static and dynamic program analysis, network security, and encryption
- Communicating status, findings, and technical risks with leadership and customers
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS degree and and 5+ years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma and 7+ years of relevant experience
- Experience in vulnerability research
- Experience in reverse engineering and common security research tools (e.g., IDA Pro, Ghidra, Radare, Binary Ninja, SysInternals, GDB, WinDBG)
- Experience in Python, C/C++, and Assembly (x86/x64) programming
- Experience with CNO capability development
- Experience with low-level internals in one or more technology areas (e.g., Windows, Linux, Mobile)
- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience developing fuzzers and static analysis tools
- Experience with modern security system features
- Experience using Atlassian products (JIRA, Confluence, Crucible)
- Experience applying Agile Scrum methodologies
- Experience mentoring junior vulnerability researchers
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must have an active/current Secret clearance
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
