Operations Consultant

Piper Companies is hiring an Operations Consultant for a life insurance company in Durham, NC. This is an entry-level role where you'll help review and process life insurance and annuity claims.

What You'll Do:

• Review claims to make sure they meet policy guidelines
• Approve payments or explain why a claim is denied
• Enter claim details and updates into company systems
• Reach out to customers, doctors, or employers if more info is needed
• Manage multiple claims while staying organized and on time
• Keep all files accurate and confidential

What They're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree (2024-2026 grads preferred)
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable speaking with customers about sensitive situations
• Able to stay organized in a fast-paced setting

Pay & Benefits:

• $20-$23/hour
• Full benefits, PTO, holidays, and 401k match
