WHO WE ARE
The Windows OE Engineer works as part of the Test Site Engineering organization in Moorestown, NJ (full time, on site). The role solves end user computer problems, improves performance on Windows OS, and evaluates/installs COTS software. Must be able to obtain a SECRET level security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
THE WORK
• Hardware and software installation / de installation (COTS and custom).
• Configuration management, build automation, and release engineering.
• Fault detection and isolation.
• Volume backups, system monitoring, clean up, and security patching.
• User support and knowledge of internal/external network interfaces.
WHO YOU ARE
• Ability to write scripts in at least one administrative language (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
• Experience with Windows OS administration, configuration management, build automation, and release engineering.
• Experience with Rational ClearCase (or comparable SCM tools).
• Excellent customer, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail; capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with all facets of system administration: tactical environments, network operations, user account management, OS patching, and security auditing.
• Knowledge of RMF compliance and DISA STIGs is helpful.
• Experience with Red Hat Linux (or similar) is a plus; willingness to expand cross platform expertise.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in related discipline and a minimum of 4 years of professional level experience.
- Windows Systems Administration - Proficient with Windows Server (2012 R2, 2016, 2019) and client operating systems, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and remote management tools.
- Configuration Management & Automation - Experience with source-control (Git, Perforce), build automation (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, PowerShell DSC), and release processes.
- Lab & Integration Testing - Ability to work independently in a lab setting, conduct integration testing, and troubleshoot hardware/software interactions.
- COTS Evaluation - Experience installing, configuring, and validating commercial off-the-shelf software packages.
- Interpersonal Skills - Strong written and verbal communication; proven teamwork and customer-service orientation.
- Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the SECRET level. Requires U.S. Citizenship.
Desired Skills:
- Linux Exposure - Familiarity with Linux system administration (Red Hat, Ubuntu) and basic shell scripting (Bash/Python) to support hybrid Windows/Linux test environments.
- Microsoft Automation Tools - Hands-on experience with SCCM, SCEM, SCOM, WSUS, or related Microsoft Endpoint Management solutions.
- Scripting & Automation - Ability to author PowerShell, Python, or batch scripts for environment provisioning, configuration drift remediation, and repetitive task automation.
- Agile/DevOps Practices - Experience operating within Scrum or Kanban frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional software teams
- Security+ Certification
