Description

Plateau is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead, coordinate, and oversee program execution in support of the United States Transportation Command (USTRANSCOM) at Scott Air Force Base. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for government stakeholders, ensuring alignment between Plateau and USTRANSCOM leadership.
- Lead all aspects of program planning, execution, performance monitoring, and reporting.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, including technical, functional, and subcontractor personnel.
- Develop schedules, resource plans, risk management strategies, and performance metrics.
- Ensure all deliverables meet contractual, regulatory, and mission requirements.
- Oversee financial performance-including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control-to maintain program profitability and adherence to contract parameters.
- Facilitate regular program reviews, status updates, and issue escalation/resolution.
- Maintain compliance with DoD cybersecurity, information assurance, and operational standards.
- Guide process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and mission responsiveness.
Requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Clearance (must be current).
- CompTIA Security+ (DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience managing complex DoD or federal programs.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in support of mission critical operations.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage scope, schedules, budgets, and performance metrics.
Desired Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience supporting USTRANSCOM, Air Mobility Command (AMC), or other logistics/transportation-focused DoD commands.
- Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, contracting, and program governance.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and digital transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance frameworks and RMF.
