GS-07 Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 in the Federal service which includes: 1) conducting quality assurance through field inspections 2) gathering facility information in a field environment, and 3) identifying and submitting work request for failed or failing facility components via database of record or established work order systems such as GFEBS, cProjects, etc. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-06).

Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 1 full year of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Engineering, Program/Project Management.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

- Serve as an official point of contact for all work requests.
- Develop preliminary packages for assigned repair, construction, and renovation projects in accordance with the Annual Work Plan (AWP).
- Visit work sites listed on work orders, discuss requirements of the request with tenants or the using activity to verify work requirement.
- Collect additional information through personal observation/inspection at the job site and/or through necessary data prior to initiating design packages.
- Assure completeness of data entered into the system, such as GFEBS, cProjects, etc., consulting originator to verify and correct any obvious errors.
- Manage the overall coordination and execution of special projects and studies.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid State driver's license.
- This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance to have access to classified information and attend classified meetings.
- This position has a requirement to lift up to 40 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.
- Temporary Duty travel (TDY) may be required up to 5%.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- The incumbent of this position is required to obtain and maintain a government vehicle operator's license.
