Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering efforts supporting Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and advanced aerospace system development, acquisition, and sustainment efforts. This role directly supports US Air Force integration of next-generation technologies and requires a technical leader capable of guiding complex system design, integration, and testing across multiple stakeholders.
In this role, the Senior Systems Engineer will lead and coordinate systems engineering activities supporting the next-generation ICBM (LGM-35A Sentinel) and related modernization efforts. Responsibilities include integrating efforts across the ICBM enterprise, advising program stakeholders, and ensuring system readiness and deployment across government and contractor organizations.

Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

Pursuant to Government contract, this position requires US Citizenship status.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Software, Mathematics, or Physics
- 7 years (5 years with MS degree) of progressive experience in systems integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems/processes
- 2 years of experience leading system design, integration, and analytical efforts
- At least 3 years of progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership
- Active U.S. Government Secret clearance with a background investigation completed
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
o Experiencewith Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Model-Based Systems Engineering(MBSE)
- Flight test experience
- Enterprise or program-level system coordination
- ICBM acquisitions experience
- Professional Engineering License
- Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
